  • Addams Elementary: PTA offsets the cost of Styrofoam cafeteria trays with paper products (when funds allow).
  • Keller Elementary: Asthma Free Zone/No Idling Policy
  • Northwood Elementary: Green Valentine Party
  • Oak Ridge Elementary: Cafeteria Recycling program called Recycling Rangers
  • Oakland: The Media Center has a series called "Dealing with Waste", titles include " Household Waste, Leftover Food, Old Appliances, Old Cars, Old Clothes and Wastewater."
  • ROHS: Bright Green (click for details) 
  • All Elementaries: Using eFolders to send home School, District, and Community information  electronically instead of on paper.
